What we collect

When you use B2C2 Food Discovery, we process the queries you submit, the results the product returns, and optional restaurant/menu interactions such as restaurant clicks and menu opens.

If you enable location, we use your coordinates to find nearby restaurants. We do not use location unless you explicitly allow it in your browser.

Anonymous analytics

If you accept analytics, we store an anonymous visitor identifier in localStorage and a session identifier in sessionStorage. These identifiers are used to measure search quality, no-match rates, restaurant clicks, and menu opens during the beta.

We do not use these identifiers to infer your real-world identity, and we do not sell personal data.

How we use the data

We use your queries and interactions to improve result quality, understand which searches fail, and identify where restaurant/menu coverage is too thin.

Search queries may be processed by our AI and infrastructure providers to generate responses and operate the service.

Storage and cookies

The beta uses browser storage for app behavior and, if you consent, anonymous analytics. Essential technical storage may still be used to keep the app functional. Analytics storage is optional and can be declined.

Your choices

You can decline analytics in the consent banner. If you previously accepted analytics, you can clear local browser storage for this site to reset those identifiers.
